The Challenges I Faced While Filming “Glamour Girls” – Sharon Ooja

Sharon Ooja, a Nollywood actress, has revealed how she tried to keep sane throughout the filming of Glamour Girls.

On Tuesday, the film star, who played one of the key roles in the film, opened out about her hardships against the backdrop of the film’s criticism on her Instagram account.

She said, “I played Emmanuella in Glamour Girls the movie and I am here to tell you that due to our labour of love, Glamour Girls is still showing on Netflix and trending worldwide.”

“I know how much effort we all put into this; I mean every single person. I know how much effort I put into this… months and months of filming, falling sick in between, struggling to stay sane.
“I am grateful for all the love; I truly am, and as a team, we are grateful for all the love and also all the criticism. Please keep watching and keep spreading the news, this is Nigeria to the world.”

The actor described how she became ill and tried to keep sane during the filming process.

Glamour Girls is a remake of the 1994 Nigerian blockbuster, which debuted on Netflix on June 24.

Nse Ikpe-Etim, Joselyn Dumas, Toke Makinwa, and Sharon Ooja feature in it. However, since its release on Netflix a few days ago, the film has received a flood of critical response from moviegoers.
