The government of Bayelsa State, in a way of empowering its people, intend to organize training courses for over 10,000 youths across the state in Information Technology and skills acquisition.
The Director General of Bayelsa State Microfinance and Enterprise Development Agency (BYMEDA), Mr. Ebiekure Eradiri announced this intention to the public during the opening of the Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology Park, at Agudama-Ekpetiama in Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa.
The Governor of the state, Governor Seriake Dickson was highly commended for promoting small and medium scale businesses.
Eradiri also mentioned that the project was aimed at empowering both youth and adults. He said: “The state government in partnership with the Bank of Industry (BoI) and other relevant agencies of government, locally and internationally has committed so much to the promotion of small scale businesses in the state”.
This development will add value to over 10,000 people in the state.
